Hello evybody
I am a new member. We one 12 y.o wheaten, he is a terrific dog, still active, eats, walks, have regular stool etc.
We check his weight every year and today i was told that he lost 4 pounds since last check up.
It may me just loss of muscle mass in older dogs, or possible protein-loosing issue, she could not fell any mass or lesion on the dog.
He eats only his food/Nutro choice+water/ and again has good appetite and bowel movements.
My question is
would you change his nutrition at this stage of his life
if yes what would you change
when you suggest to check his weight again
Thanks alex shulman
